Who can access saved credentials?
Only the account owner. In Organizations, you only see what’s shared with you through permissions.
Is it only for SAP?
No. ConnexGUI stores any credential: URLs, VPNs, services, and more. SAP is a special module for SAP developers, consultants and consultancies.
How does this help consultancies?
Organizations centralize credentials and control access per consultant/client, keeping governance without spreadsheets or passwords in chat.
Can you see my passwords?
No. Everything is encrypted on your device before it leaves it, and the server does not have the key. Details on the Security page.
I forgot my password. Now what?
Use the recovery kit generated by the app. Without the password and the kit, no one, including us, can recover the data. That is the price of us not having access to it.
What happens when someone leaves the organization?
The organization key is rotated and content is re-encrypted with the new version, so the removed person no longer has access to the data.
Does the app send usage data?
Only if you turn it on, and anonymously. We never send names, hosts, passwords, URLs or guide contents.
Does the app update itself?
It tells you when a new version is out and installs it with your confirmation, then restarts itself. Updates are verified by digital signature before installing.
Does it work on Windows and Mac?
Yes, with a tray on Windows and a menu bar on macOS (macOS 15 or newer; Apple Silicon and Intel).
